Minimal style influencers and style icons like JOSEFINE H. J, Marie von Behrens, Christie Tyler and designer Peter Do are exploring an edgy new way to express their style without all of the unicorns and rainbows that some of the younger more playful set are going after.
These style influencers have created aesthetics with neutral palettes, clean details and an obsession with form and silhouette so it’s no wonder that they’re paving the way on the new backless trend in a way that is sophisticated and polished while still being interesting.
This trend really kicked off last Fall with chunky knit sweaters, as seen on Cere Campbell below and this is the next evolution of more polished and minimal backless style.
